Yvette Lisa Ramirez, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor with my Master’s in Human Services with Specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Health Information Management from Texas State University. She is certified through the Texas Department of Health and Human Services in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and currently training in Cognitive Processing Therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is changing and challenging thinking and core beliefs and behaviors to improve Depression, Anxiety, and other symptoms. Cognitive Processing Therapy focuses on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and challenging beliefs and thoughts that have stemmed from a traumatic event.

She works Full-time at the Center for Healthcare Services as the Assertive Community Team Clinic Administrator working with consumers recovering from major Depression, Bipolar disorder, Schizoaffective disorder, and Schizophrenia. She facilitate groups, such as, Addressing Trauma through Art and managing Stress and Anxiety. She takes a person centered approach with all her clients and believe that a trusting relationship will be the best way to help recovery.
